'Things that fall from the sky'  is an installation of painted works, found and made objects, completed as part of  my MFA (Drawing) at the National Art School, Sydney.  This project looks into the associative and fragmentary nature of memory, to view, with scepticism and admiration of the slipperiness and trickery inherent in nostalgia. Combining the everyday and the scared, objects are duplicated, unfinished, elevated in a view that intentionally disorientates the audience between familiarity and distance, innocence and unsettlement.
