'Out, Damned Spot' is an on-going collaborative  project  by Caitlin Hespe and Emilie Syme-Lamont. This project focuses on material experimentation to interrogate perceptions of comfort and cleanliness and the spectrum between control and disorder. With numerous influences including 70's horror movies, ASMR, haunted houses and tattoo culture, the installation is a multimedia and surrealist look into the things that disturb us that lie just beneath the surface.

This exhibition was shown at PINCE Project, a dynamic Artist Run Space in the heart of Budapest, Hungary. Its second iteration will take place in Late 2021 in Sydney, Aus.
